I received a call from 252-8669-4595 on 9/30 and I returned their call but no one was in since they are on Central time. They called again on 10/4 and again, I called back and left a message for Brenda and advised her to call me at work. I wanted to know who this company was. She came with some information regarding a company that I had purchased trash bags with and I paid them for $67. She is claiming that in 2015, I did not pay them and not with the late charges, I owe $334. Sounded funny to me. I questioned her and she was convincing that she has all of the documented information and wanted me to pay the amount otherwise, I could dispute the amount. I asked about the statute of limitations and she indicated that the company has two years; which I do not think is correct. She also said that they collect for companies but the Wounded Soldier or something is really not one that they normally service, but they received my account. I was totally shocked of the amount and the timing. Me like a fool, agreed to pay in two payments. Well, when she gave me a Post Office box, that was another flag. So after I got off the phone, I thought this is a scam and there is no way in hell that I am going to pay over $300 for some stupid trashbags that I do not remember ever receiving.
