Our Sleep Number/Select Comfort mattress was purchased in June 2010 with the store manager's personal assurances that any problems then or in the future would be handled quickly. Well, five years later the leak started, we couldn't locate the exact source so just kept pumping it up again, now in August 2016 sought help from Sleep Number, only to be told that if we couldn't identify the problem ourselves they would be glad to send someone out for a mere $179 to identify the problem, then the "free" warranty would kick in for replacements. What?! We are both in our 70s and can't crawl under the bed to "troubleshoot," and don't have an extra $179 laying around for someone else to do so. Will probably have to put a new mattress on our Sears account before I can sleep in our bed again. The monetary value lost is probably about $1500 considering depreciation, as the original cost was $2357. Buyers Beware! Sleep Number/Select Comfort has lost our vote and confidence, permanently,
