The first of March 2016 my husband decided to change our internet and phone to Century Link because we could get faster internet and the phone at a great price. we received a brochure in the mail that said, Internet for $20.00 and a phone for approximately $25.00 plus taxes. They hooked up our Internet the first part of march and they finally got out phone working a month later. We got a bill in may and I paid approx. $165. plus change. My husband called them and they would get it straightened out and we would have a credit. then we got another bill and I paid $177. plus chance. With in a few days we got another bill for over $400. and we called them again and they had turned our internet off and told us that we had to pay the $400. and they would turn it back on. We told them that we were seniors and we just didn't have that kind of money and we just couldn't figure out how we could owe that much in 3 months. When I told her that we just couldn't do it, I was told that it was not their problem and that I needed to pay it or they would not turn it back on and they would also turn the phone off. I got mad and told to put the company where the sun don't shine. A few days later I got a new bill for over $200. for the month of June. It seems to me that it should be against the law for false advertising and just plain lying about their business.
Well I guess that is all, as my kids say, You don't mess with an old gal who will be 77 in one month.

Thank you for listening, I don't expect anything to happen but I at least got it off my chest.
