I have a 2 year contract with Centurylink. I signed up for a $29.95 plan with 40mbs/20mbs.

I bought the service.

I was charged $80+ from there on out.

Phone calls (hours of hours of hold time and explaining) fixed the bills a couple times, but nothing permanently.

I went in to the store eventually and was told my contract could be voided but not honored, that I didn't qualify for that price.

So in other words, I bought a car for $10,000 and when I rolled it off the lot they told be I didn't qualify for that price and now its going to be $30,000.

Weird thing is to get out of the contract cost me $200, but they can just make it vanish.

I was told I will not receive back payment for the amount lost, but they found a contract for $30's and put me in a year contract with a $10 off each month for a year (loyalty).

Although I must give much thanks to this lady for fixing my problem, it was a lot of work. Then again, it may not be fixed still, we shall see. I'll know in a month.
