On Jan 16th (approximately) I ordered a FREE SAMPLE of Allegro, committing to the $4.95 shipping costs. I didn't think any more of it, until I received a 2nd jar in the middle to late February. There was NO billing, no explanation of this shipment. I watched a Dr Phil show this last Friday, and he had a piece on the SCAMS for a few facial cleansers (Allegro being one of them). So I looked at my February credit card bill, and sure enough there was not only ONE, but TWO charges from them. NOTE: I only received a 2nd jar, so that must mean that I was charged for a jar I have never even received! I called the number listed on my credit card statement. They were extremely rude, and told that I HAD authorized to receive a jar to be billed MONTHLY, "as part of my TRIAL". I told this man that I did NOT sign up for a long term trial. He told me that it was ALL explained on the website where I placed my "ORDER". I cannot find the original "page" that I asked for the SAMPLE, but he told me it WAS ALL VERY CLEARLY EXPLAINED! I did NOT see anything about a long term commitment. After looking at several "SEND ME A SAMPLE" pages today, I see at the very bottom of the page a "link" to view the TERMS. MY BAD, I guess at 68 years of age, I did NOT see that link, therefore did NOT know I was signing up for a LONG TERM commitment. They will NOT refund the charges (even for the charge for NOT getting the 3rd jar)!!! PLEASE make your friends aware of this SCAM!!! I am SO mad, even at myself. Because of my age, I am sure that I am not the 1st to get caught in this venue. AND I bet there are numerous other women in my age group that are more then willing to give ANY product trying to soften the wrinkles of time. This Company (and the others that Dr Phil spoke about are truly taking advantage of "OUR" age group!!!
