I guess I'm another one who got scammed.
My computer got a popup that said to call this number, which I did and they said they could fix it. But turned out they didn't and I went to another company that did. Now I'm getting phone calls from Techfixnow saying that they are moving overseas and want to refund my money. But to do that I had to get into my account and they said that I needed a $1000.00 in order to receive a refund. Now they keep calling even though I have told them to stop and they still want to give me a refund, but that I needed to get into my email so they can send me instructions on how to get a refund by check. told them that they had my email, to send what they were going to send and I will look at it later. But they said that I needed to do this now. I told them, in no uncertain terms to screw off and hung up.
Now I just got another phone call from them, but I didn't answer it this time. I refuse to even talk with them. But I am going to file another complaint with the Attorney General's Office in Florida.
