I was told I was eligible for a pardon about 5 years ago when I started the process. After paying Pardons Canada it became difficult to contact them except by email only to receive pre-fabricated answers to specific questions. It was as though they couldn't be bothered to read my questions even after multiple submissions of the same question. They are not very helpful. After waiting a long period of time with no response I contacted them again only to have them tell me the process had to be started again and they charged me full price again. I finally managed to obtain all the information they required after months of running around. I then asked when I should expect to hear back from them and their automated response said it would be within 6 to 12 months. The application was apparently sent to Parole Board of Canada on June 22, 2015 and am still waiting on a response. After paying for the service twice I am expecting a good response but fear I may not even get one. Their domain name implies they are an organization but it seems to be a scam. Pardons Canada and their lack of communication is terrible and I too was dealing with Alex who seems to be the leader of this scam. Highly recommend doing your research if applying for a pardon and not using Pardons Canada or pardons.org.
