I thought I was calling Kapersky Internet Security support line. The person was helpful but her assessment did not match my issue. It was apparent that she was trying to sell my additional security applications I did not need and wanting to convince me to buy a $600 lifetime plan. I did let her access my computer where she supposedly saw evidence of phishing. She did not use my IP address but an on-line chat service (www.support.me)which disconnected immediately once our session was done. I did ask her directly who she represents and she said "GEEKS". Eventually, I did connect with Kapersky Tech Support and they provided the instructions I needed for obtaining the web certificates missing for google chrome. I believe GEEKS mis-represented my issue in order to scare me into buying product I did not need. I did not order anything from GEEKS.
