Two men misrepresented themselves as Microsoft technicians but sounded Indian. I suspected them, but allowed them access to my computer. They tried to alarm me with false warnings that someone had hacked my computer and accessed my bank account, and they lied about their location. They offered to fix the problem, but I repeatedly refused to pay them at all. They infected my computer with a terrible virus, and went away. Genuine Microsoft staffers repaired the damage in a four-hour session.
