Recieved a call about 11:00 pm on March 5, 2015 from a guy who said he worked for Microsoft. He said that my computer had been hacked, was sending out lots of spam emails and that it may crash and he needed to get into my computer to fix it immediately. He sound very professional & seemed to know a lot about computers. He said I shouldn't use my computer at ll until it was fixed. He told me the charge would be $177.76. I then told him that I didn't have the money and he said he could break in down into 4 monthly payments. He also said that I could call them with any problems I would have in the future with my computer. I agreed and had to pay with both my debit card for a portion and credit card too to pay the $44.44. I gave him both account numbers. He then took control of my computer and showed me things that backed up what he had told me was wrong with the computer. He told me it would take several hours and told me I could go to bed and when I woke up the next morning it would be fixed. I watched for a while and then went to bed. When I got up I got online and looked up UTH.com and immediately saw scam alerts everywhere. I contacted my bank to change my debit card & credit card passwords. Now they keep calling me looking for money and won't stop.
