I recently booked a hostel in Dublin for 1 night for 2 people on the 26th or march. The 2 of us double checked the booking before we made the reservation as we always do to avoid unnecessary costs and a couple of days after the booking on the 17th of February we recieved an email asking how our stay was. Obviously we had not stayed these dates so I contacted Hostelworld.com saying that they had had a system error because we had definitely checked our dates were right before booking and they basically said no we didnt you booked the wrong dates so its your fault. We were charged the full amount and when I emailed Hostelworld back to try to resolve the situation they have refused to reply to my email. Dont use this site or any of its other sites like hostelbookers.com or hostels.com as it could put you out of pocket even if Hostelworld.com make the mistake themselves.
