I received a check for $2994 along with instructions on how to activate the check. Then I was to deposit it in my bank and when it cleared, keep $350 and the rest would go to shopping at Walmart and Western Union.
I did not deposit, and could never activate the check. So I did not loose any money, but I could have if I had deposited the check.
What a scam!
