I received a text message on a Saturday about an online job which I found odd, disturbing and very questioning. It was from a 512-309-8417 number asking if I was-----. So my response was why did that person used to own the number & who wants to know? The response was I am Nathan Scott with Suncorp Group and your resume has been reviewed by our Head of Department for an online work at home position payrate of $35.75/hr and training $23/hr. Now it sounded too good to be true so I look up Suncorp Group and email them about this guy being the hiring staff for them in the states since they are based in Australia. So I proceed with the texting and he asks if I have yahoo im so he can proceed with a briefing and an interview. I question him again about calling instead of the messages. The whole thing just seemed fictitious. He needed me to have a bank account to deposit a check for training and work materials and had been sending im's regularly before 6:30am every morning. Now I check my email a few days later to find that Suncorp Group has emailed me back saying they dont hire outside work from the US, they don't know or never heard of a Nathan Scott and they hope I haven't given him personal information. I in return give him my input via yahoo im and he just stopped sending messages. I even reported HARASSMENT on yahoo....please don't fall a victim to this Scam Artist.
