I too called apple regarding an issue with my IPAD and was connected to this company. They said it was my desktop causing the issue. Fell for this scam. Then on 7/12 I received a call from someone that spoke poor English. A person by the name of Sam Wilson said he needed access to my desktop as it was sending out my personal information. It would be another $120 - $180 to fix the problem. Told him no way and hung up. Her presisted to call back about 5 times. Contacted MicroSoft and they advised that it was a scam. Filed a complaint with both Microsoft and my credit card company to dispute their charges as well as to close the account.
