I got a phone call this morning from Reading America. They said that I was up for a renewal. I had cancelled my service with them in 2012. I did a written cancellation, which I had to search for on the mail they sent me because the cancellation form was on the back and the paper was in very light grey scale.
I am obviously not a teenager but started receiving the Magazine Seventeen, which I never agreed to receiving to begin with. I was then transferred and the next lady said that my final obligation was $1198.67, after much prompting them to tell me what the final obligation was. They could not just tell me what the final obligation was. She had kept saying what the monthly payment was.
