Complete misrepresentation of costs associated with the "free trial". Nowhere is a 14 trial period mentioned, nowhere is the amount of the charges that will be debited against your checking account if you do not cancel within 14 days. It is spelled out that the only cost associated with trying these products is a $4.95 shipping charge (from two locations, so you pay $4.95 twice). That would have been acceptable. However, I saw online that my checking account had been debited for $89.15 and $89.97 - for products I DID NOT ORDER. After reading a script that initially offered me a $31.00 "courtesy refund". When I refused to accept that, the "customer service" rep. said she would use her own "employee discount" to give me a"50% refund of $45.00". I told her that was unacceptable. I wanted a full refund of my money back into my account. Nothing happened until I told her that my father was with the FBI (true) and my fiance' is an attorney (true). She started talking very fast (off script) and said "don't call the FBI, I'm sending an email to confirm that we are refunding the full amount, $89.15, to your account." She gave me a confirmation # and I received the email she mentioned, confirming the full refund. She would not discuss the other debit, the $89.87, saying that they shared the website with another company and I would have to contact them. I contacted Bank of America and was assured that they would conduct a fraud investigation and that I should not worry - that my $ would be returned to my account, should I not be able to reach the "other company" by phone. THANK GOD FOR BANK OF AMERICA - my bank for the last 21 years!!
