They called me and told me they were from Windows and that they had sent 6,132 error reports that I hadn't responded to. The whole thing was frighteningly convincing. My computer had been running badly anyway. They said my Microsoft Registration Protection certificate had expired.
Also:
It was a bad connection and sounded like tech help sounds, along with background noise and thick hard to understand accents.

I was told:
I had no firewall or antivirus, no protection
I was getting hacked every time I logged into AOL and downloaded ITunes.

My computer may need to be shut down because it was so corrupted and damaged.
