I have been with this bank now for 12 years. When I went to the atm this month to withdraw prescription money for my sons heart meds. I was told I was an unauthorized user. I called the bank who proceeded to tell me I had to send the a copy of my social sec card signed, a utility current bill and an id. I explained that my wallet was stolen and then currently I needed my replacement resident alien card to get any of those items they had asked for. I was told to send police report, copy of social sec card I had and a medicare card received the day before. This included my name social address date of birth. I also included mail and letters from the month from INS, IRS and Social Security statement. Agter 72 hours I called and was told that wasnt enough they wanted a idemnification letter from the social security dept to return funds to them that could take 72 hrs and they would close the account. 12 years and they need I am who I am. Meanwhile I have lost my place to rent for my family and my nine year old son has gone 6 days without heart medication because they will not give me access to to my account or funds. How is this legal they took their charge from my deposit. So they cashed my check without id so were is the money I am supposed to have been issued to live on.
