I heard a lot of bad rep on this company and decided to give them a call. I had a FRESH install computer with NO problems, up to date and perfectly clean. I called them and claimed I had many problems, it was slow, file corruptions, etc. However, there was no significant problems. They had told me I had viruses, before they even saw my computer. The technician wanted to gain complete control to my computer, which is very suspicious. This "technician" had been pretending to work, in reality he put some malware on my computer, and ran a fake scanner that was supposed to "detect all problems" on my computer. He then charged me $600 to fix a problem, that didn't even exist in the first place. They lied and claimed that my computer had a problem, in reality it had none, and charged me $600+ for garbage.

  • Visits to unscrupulous websites can immediately infect a computer, even one with a “fresh” install if it does not have a proper firewall and anti-virus extension. Relatively new computers too may have corrupt registry entry & other system errors which precisely can slow computer performance. Before checking anyone’s computer, neither our technician nor anybody can claim that it is virus affected. Generally, we run a PC-health check scan as a basic T-S step to reveal the root cause of the issue or to check if any other issues are present which is causing this current issue. PC-health check scan is 3rd party software and we do not have control/influence over its result.

OmniTech Support is a fee-based, reputed online tech support organization, having thousands of satisfied customers. Unlike every organization, we also have few unsatisfied customers but that is a tiny fraction compared to our satisfied customers. We do not charge $600 to fix single issue.

Our service charges are clearly upfront mentioned in our website. We offer Yearly, Half-yearly and Quarterly service plan which are economical, beneficial and work out for everyone in most of cases. Apart from these service plans we have per issue fix plan and if customer doesn’t wish to subscribe for Yearly or Half-Yearly plan then he can go with per issue fix plan. The service charges for per issue fix will be depending on issue complexity. Our technician takes remote access only with prior permission of the customer and the customer will have the full control to override any action while remote session is going on. The customer can watch all steps performed by our tech. We record every remote session and we do not plant malwares or virus on the customer’s computer. We request this person to provide us some more details like his customer ID and date of sign up & get back to us so that we can investigate his issue and can sort this matter out, only if this person is a real customer of OmniTech to start with.
