I applied for a loan through a website called Canloans. A couple of days later I received a call from Mike Ford (ex. 805) saying I was approved for $20,000 loan but because my credit was bad I had three options - collateral, co signer or insurance liability. i took the insurance. He said I had to make a payment of $998.00 through Western Union, which I thought was odd but needed the money! I had to make it out Kadesha. He said my money would in my account in an hour. I checked nothing. I called "Mike" back and he said there was a little problem and I had to talk to his supervisor, Dan Holloway. i talked with Dan and he said that I had to make another payment of $975.00 because I needed to pay the "whole" insurance premium. So, I sent another payment and still nothing. I called back and they said that they cancelled the loan but was able to get a higher one. But I had to pay more money, I told them I couldn't afford it and was told I could send a payment of $900.00 and they would "waive" the other $900.00 and my money would be in my account the next morning since the "Company" was closed. I checked nothing. I called Dan and he said that they were not able to "waive" the $900.00 and I had to pay. I was so upset and told them I didn't want the loan, he said it would take six to eight weeks for refund. He talked and talked to me and said that it would be faster to just pay the $900.00 and I will get my funds right away. So, I paid them the $900.00. He kept telling to call back in half an hour because they were back logged! He said call back in forty minutes and most likely my funds would be in my account.I called back and he said that he had to transfer me to someone else named Walter. i talked with Walter who said he was part owner of company. He said that he had to reprimand his workers because what they told me wasn't true. I had to pay another $1800.00! Taxes! I refused. This was January 31/14! I have been trying since to get my refund and they keep telling me it is going to take six to eight weeks! They are still trying to get me to pay oh now, it's $800 to get the loan. They TOLD ME I HAD TO PAY A FEE OF $525.00 TO GET MY REFUND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am still waiting! did anyone get reimbursed from this so called company? Please Help!
