International boundaries

I signed up to Mydealsave.com and entered my card details numerous of times as it kept saying my card was either declining or I had to put in the details to verify my membership.
And it constantly said on the website that nothing would be charged to my account until I made a purchase.
Later looking at my account, I realised that 2 x payments of $113 had been charged. Being $226 in total. If i had of known i was going to be charged like this I would NOT have signed up to it at all.
I have left a few emails for them to contact me and have had no luck getting a return phone call.
This has screwed my budget and crippled me for the fortnight.
I am considering going to the media about this.
