Complaint Description:
They charged me far more than what was quoted & did not do the work paid for. They had me quickly sign a worthless service agreement. my loss $507.00 Email I sent Air Care Solutions: To Joe Cott MGR....Re: Elijah DeAntonio, lead man for the work performed on my Condo on 1/13/14. #1 I want the service agreement (Job # 123602) I paid $ 138.00 on 1/13/14 canceled and my money returned immediately. It provides no actual service but rather only a check up.. and If you find a problem I would have to pay additionally for the service and any parts. this is a worthless contract which I want canceled immediately. ************************************************************************************************************* #2 You sold me a UV bulb which you show a list price of $125.00 which you discounted and charged me $ 89.00. I took the old bulb to home depot where it was listed for $ 11.98. You ripped me off big time. I will pay you $ 20.00 for the bulb and want you to return the balance of $ 69.00 to me. ******************************************************************************************* #3 You charged me $ 742.00 to service 7 Ducts. I called three Air Conditioning Companies to get estimates and received quotes totaling $ 350.00. $ 385.00 and $420. You ripped me off by about $ 350.00. I want you to return $ 300.00 to me because you again ripped me off by overcharging me. ******************************************************************************************* I want you to return all the money you ripped me off for, detailed as follows: A cancellation of your worthless service agreement...............................$ 138.00 B Return of the money you ripped me off for the UV bulb .................... 69.00 C Return of the money you overcharged me for the Duct work & misc. 300.00 Total money you must return to me.................................................................$ 507.00 I am very serious about this and am committed to not let you rip me off. If you do not settle with me, I am prepared to have one of my attorneys take this to small claims court, where we will present all the evidence which includes 3 other quotes as noted above, The worthless service agreement I was handed to quickly sign before I had a chance to read it, and the Computer printed Home depot cost of $ 11.98 for the bulb you charged me $ 89.00. I will not incur an attorneys fee for this legal action because I retain an attorney who is paid on an annual basis. This issue to me is more a matter of my refusal to be ripped off than the $ 500.00 I want returned. I will do every thing in my power to have this money returned to me.
