I have a contract with Geek Squad through Best Buy where I purchased a Notebook December 2013. I had a pc issue so I touched my Geek Squad icon on the desktop and unbeknownst to me this Geeks Technical picked up ( HIGH-JACKED !!! ) my connection. They went into scary detail about all these "threats" on my website and said they would remove them all for a fee. I said I have a contract (still thinking I'm talking to GeekSquad) They began speaking fast, half of which I couldn't get....the accent, you know. They connived me, saying my one year contract was not enough; get the life-time contract...."then you'll never have to worry" So, yes I accepted. When I realized who they were after getting a confirmation from Best Buy, of course they said well, you were not speaking to your GeekSquad, better find out who these people are. My bank can't help, the transaction already went through (of course !)
I e-mailed these crooks and demanded a credit. Probably won't hear a response till Monday; I can't wait. Maybe they'd like to deal with the Attorney Generals office next!
