AirCare Solutions came out to my house to fix an issue with my condenser unit not turning on and my airhandler not turning off. When the technician got there, he stated that the reason why the condenser didn't turn on is because my unit was low on Freon. Prior to putting in the freon, he manually started the condenser and it worked. So I was charged for 6 lbs of freon. He didn't check for leaks, he didn't check out the airhandler inside the house. When he left, I went upstairs to turn the air off, and it never turned off. I called the technician back (5-10 mins later), and he tells me that it is not turning off because it needs a bit of time to adjust to the new freon. When I told him at least 5 mins past, he said the control board on the condenser may need to be replaced and that he didn't have the part. My concern here is that I don't believe I needed freon. I believe the switch was stuck on the compressor, which he resolved. Secondly, why would any trained professional guess at the solution when he should have the equipment to diagnose properly? I called the main office, and got an unidentified manager. He stated he would have someone out to my house before I had to go to work. The manager never called me back. When I called back 2 hours later, couldn't get a manager on the phone. I am getting the runaround with these people. I want my money back, post haste!
