Coat ordered 19.11.13 - received email the following day, saying that it was erroneously showing as in-stock, when it was out-of-stock, and that, as a goodwill gesture, they would deliver it express FOC. Early Dec. 2013 - email asking if I needed it by Christmas (foolishly, I said I needed it straight after New Year). From 6.1.14, when they re-opened, tried several times to phone (answer machine was full, or phone just rang and was not picked up); finally, my wife got hold of the proprietor, who conceded that it would not arrive in time for when I needed it, and agreed a refund. I ordered the exact same item from another supplier (on eBay) on 8.1.14 for £74.99, and it arrived within 48 hours. Today, I have had it confirmed by my credit card company that they are refunding the money, as, several emails, and excuses, later, Proviation has not refunded the money as it undertook to.
