There are so many issues we have that we are upset with, I do not even know where to begin. First the day we went in to visit the Baton Rouge Site we were told that we had to make a decision that same day, if we wanted to join. When we explained that we did not have the extra money to join, they said they could finance us. The guy said it was not like a regular finacing... that they would not do a credit check and everyone is approved. That day we told the guy that we still were not sure and as we were leaving, he passed us his card. He went on tell us that he was not suppose to do this, that the policy was we only had the option to join that day. But, for us he would make an exception... We could go home and think about it and if we still wanted to do it we could come back in a couple of days and join.
With that in mind alone the guy went against policy and "broke the rules" for us. The day before we joined I called him to make sure they could get a "Bosch" grill and he said yes, they had the account. We went ahead and saved the $300.00 and joined. Upon him taking our check he directed me to the sales girl for the Bosch line. She said, Oh we do not carry that line! But Sears does and we can get you a discount. I was very upset! Then my husband asked her to please price out a piece of carpet he needed to get. Now, they guy told us as well as everyone who was on the tour, that if you get the item number for anything and if they carry that line, they can get it at a Manufactures price. He said it over and over, all you need is the item number. WELL, the lady could not find it in the system and they did carry that line. She explained that different stores have different codes and the item numbers are not all the same. FALSE ADVERTISMENT!!! Wnen I asked about granit and tile, they gave us a list of LOCAL CONTRACTORS who will give us a discount!!! Not manufacture prices! Yet at the tour, they said they cut out the middle man!

We were so upset that day, but though we would give them another shot. My husband found a mattress that was on sale at a local retailer. The sale was a one day sale. I called DB to see if they carried Serta mattresses. The girl told me yes and she would call me back with a price. I explained to her it was a one day sale and she needed to call me back asap. I told my husband not to buy b/c we could get the Serta line and we should save. The sales rep never got back to me until the next day. She went on to tell us that she could not get that one mattress. I asked why and she said, even though we have the account with Serta, we can not get all they offer. Well no one ever said in the tour that these things could come up. False Advertisment!!! Needless to say, we did not even get the mattress at the local retailer, due to the sale was over.
We were also told we could get 40 to 50% off Sherwin Williams paint. NO not the case. When my husband went to buy he only saved one dollar a gallon! Not 40 to 50% off!!! False Advertisment.
They also say these are manufacture prices. They are not! You can get some of the items cheeper in the store. They also failed to mention that they charge a 8% handling fee on top of your shipping!
One other thing to note. When I told the guy I still was not sure about joining b/c there was a lot of bad stuff floating around on the net about DB, he smiled and said. "We feel that the people who are out there saying those things are the same people who believe Elvis is still alive." Unbelievalbe! How do these people sleep at night? I'm ready to find an attorney!!!
