Took a pay day loan out with Maxlend. They were to just deduct my interest on 01/17/14. Instead they deducted my full payment plus an interest payment. I have tried to call them but only get a busy signal, as if their phone is not working. I have sent them two emails and they haven't responded to those but I received a general email stating that they know there was an error and they would be working around the clock to get everything straightened out. I don't see where they have attempted to straighten anything out. It was very easy for them to put money in my account and take money out of my account. Why can't they correct this just as easily. I believe I have been scammed.

  • I finally got through yesterday. Busy signals are because their phones were swamped. Money was pending coming out of my acct but they could not stop it and sent me to my bank who could not either. And being a Friday and a bank holiday Monday it will now be Tuesday before I get my money back! $700! This will bounce my mortgage as well as other bills that are automatically deducted. Maxlend told me they would pay any charges but he'll they have left me broke in a very important weekend

  • Wendy my situation is identical to yours. I've emailed them 2x's and I've been trying to call them and I get nothing. This situation has caused my acct to overdraft and many important bills come out on this payday. I don't understand . They were able to deposit my money fast why can't they just redeposit the money the erroneously took just has fast. This is a terrible
    situation to be in. I will never use them again because they are making my situation worse. It's hard when you can't speak to someone from customer service. Maybe if I spoke to someone I would feel a little less stressed.

  • The same thing happened to me on 1/17/2014. I noticed that they had deducted two payments of $857.15 from my account and when I kept trying to call them I got a busy signal. Finally got they on the phone with my bank and Maxlend's rep told my bank that it was an error on Maxlend's part so please delete the second charge. The bank did as instructed and the rep from Maxlend promised that my account would not be charged again. Checked my account this a.m. and guess what, Maxlend put another charge through for $857.15. I can acknowledge that the first time was a error but the second time, no it was no error. They have stolen my money and I will not let them get away with it. I paid my loan in full on the first payment and did not cheat them out of anything and I refuse to be cheated my them. I am outraged by this because I now have overdraft charges and negative comments on my credit report. I would hope that they would make this situation right, but I doubt that. I will do whatever it takes to not only get my money back but my bank fees paid even if I have to sue them for it. I will not forget how they have treated me as a customer.

  • I finally got through today, and they asked for my debit card info and my money was returned into my account in about an hour. If your bank won't do that, they said it would be ACH'd into account no later than Wednesday, they are returning the money. Thank you God.
