I received a new Benny Card and called to activate it. An automated system required me to agree to the terms sent with the card, one of which states "You hereby request that we refrain from sending you annual privacy notices." Those notices are sent to protect the consumer and Bancorp apparently sees fit to skirt this by just writing it off in their user agreement. Isn't that notice required by law? Can they disregard other laws by just adding a disclaimer to the user agreement?
