The fraudulent misrepresentation of the company as a government agency got me to update my company details and tricked me into involuntarily agreeing to join the database (or some similar crap) before sending me a shocking invoice for $490 SGD. Thanks to Scambook and people like mfalcon, "I have filed a complaint to ACRA against Data Register Pte Ltd / Singapore Company Register. They recorded my claim and gave me a case ID. ACRA is now investigating this case. You may wish to do the same by contacting ACRA at 6248-6028 and provide your full details to them." DO NOT PAY THEM A CENT. It's a $1 scam company started by some trashy cheat, don't give him a cent.

- I made a Police report...Police called me after making the report, saying that they have received similar complaints against the company and ACRA is investigating. In the meantime, DON'T PAY THEM ANYTHING! Let's hope they get shut down. It only sucks that they have so much details in their hands.

- Hi, i'm the admin of the company n i've received this letter too...what if i sign up this using my boss name? the letter is billed to my boss. But can't possibly ask him go report police as he doesn't know about this. What should i do now?
