We received a fax, even though we're on the Do Not Call list. It clearly had old information on us, the "Walking Fingers" Yellow page logo, and in bold type - THIS IS NOT A BILL. It asked for updated information only. My young Office Manager thought is was just for verification purposes so she made the correction and faxed it back. It was for a new On Line directory, but it looked like it was an addition. We don't advertising in any Yellow Pages, but she did not know that so she made an assumption that this was just what it said "Data Verification". It also noted "no additional charges to be included". Thinking we already subscribed, she filled it out not seeing in 3 point font, that she had signed something saying we were in a contract now for 2 years for $1099! No proof of the ad was ever sent. We started getting bills in November with $50/month ""reminder" charges! When I called Joanne Palmer, 4 times, never got a call back and I have that documented. I finally sent a fax asking for them to STOP. I finally see the actual ad - REALLY. We're a promotional products company in a very small town in Northern CA. The listing above us under "Promotional Products Sonoma" is a vendor that does not sell direct to consumer, IN SOUTHERN CA., and below us is a winery. I've Googled our company and Promotional Products in our County, and this ad does not appear 10 pages deep into Google. What in the world do you get for almost $100 a month! Reporting them next to the FTC, BBB, NY Attorney General. Anyone thinking of faxing that back, DONT! BOGUS SCAM by very underhanded players!
