have received a Yellow Page directory solicitation from this company via fax, which states "This is not a bill" in large type. However, in much smaller type at the bottom, the flyer reveals that the business is actually ordering a directory listing at a cost of $1,099 per year, for a minimum of two years. The notice also says that if the business wants to cancel, they must notify Yellow Holding Ltd in writing at least three months prior to the two-year expiration date; otherwise, the listing automatically renews. The solicitation does not provide a phone number for Yellow Holding Ltd.
filed a complaint with better business bureau (so have 162 others to date). They sent a generic letter addressed to some other company full of lies. I emailed them and CC'd the Canadian Anti-Fraud agency - no response about cancelling their garage. so far 7 "invoices" threatening us with lawsuits if we dont pay have come in the mail - all 7 letters are postmarked from Germany. The company is not registered with Corporations Canada and I cannot find them registered in New York either. A look into Yellow-Holding.com shows that they have an offshore DNS server (Domain Name Server) and that their IP address is out of Romania. Overseas fraudsters! look out they are criminal thieves.
