I received,in the mail, a renewal notice for Archaeology Magazine which appeared to come for the magazine publishers. I renewed for a two year period. My check to this company is dated October 23, 2013. On December 20th, I received another magazine renewal notice, only this time it was from the magazine publisher. I noticed that the renewal date was May/June, 2014 indicating that the magazine had not been renewed since my October payment. I contacted the magazine and was told they did not have the payment and warned me about scam companies. Further checking revealed that this company whom I paid are doing this scamming on magazine renewals. Looks like I am out the $42.00.
