I connected with this company to get a problem with Microsoft Outlook fixed.. they did a scan and then scammed me into believing that I had all kind of problems with the computer. They asked for information that they had no right to ask for like passwords and etc. After they "fixed" my computer I couldn't run one of my games that is not replaceable due to it age. The "fix" of the problem lasted 2 days and was back, so they did nothing. Files are corrupted due to the process and in general the computer is a lot worse off than when they started. Their programs uploaded my personal files to their "cloud storage" Now I am in the process of replacing all my credit cards and changing all my passwords. I couldn't see what was going on behind the scenes but for sure they had control of the computer. Each tech seemed to take hours to do what they were supposedly doing. I suppose they could have been collecting information about me. Talk about opening oneself to Identity Theft. If you use this company be prepared to expose your self to losing all information anywhere on you computer. The said they are refunding the money that I paid them and didn't ask to remove the programs that they installed on my computer. I can't say that the company is doing anything illegal but with a different tech each time you have a problem, what are the chances that at least one of them is shady. BE CAUTIOUS OF ALLOWING SOMEONE THAT YOU DON'T KNOW AND HAVE 100% FAITH IN TO ACCESS YOUR COMPUTER....They charged me $250. I guess the price is going to vary by what they can and will do... but the price varies as seen in the other complaints posted here. Think twice... Be safe and protect your information.

  • We refunded the full amount of $249.99 to this customer on December 18, 2013, immediately after he requested for a refund. Generally, our technician runs a free diagnosis scan on the customer’s computer to uncover the root of the problem as the initial troubleshooting step. Some issues are obvious, such as help being needed in setting up a home network, but in others, the diagnosis may uncover registry errors or malicious software. It is a respected third-party diagnosis tool; we have ZERO control over the outcome. If the scan said his computer was infected, it was infected.

With the customer’s prior permission, we established remote connection to his computer & checked his computer and it showed some system errors, broken registry entries and polymorphic viruses. The same scan result was conveyed to him. We fixed his initial issue: Unable to send/receive emails in Outlook.

Later the customer came to us with other issues and we worked on those issues. However, those issues were not fixed, as we needed further hands-on assistance from the customer. Therefore, we refunded the full amount.

Our process is very transparent and the customer can watch every steps performed by our technician. There is nothing “behind the scene. We didn’t delete any of his files & folders. The service price may vary according to the complexity of the issue.

The price of $249.99 that we offered was not only for a one-time issue fix, but it also includes 6 months of UNLIMITED technical support along with the initial issue resolution, which he failed to mention.

We, OmniTech Support, daily resolve thousands of software issues which can be resolved though online by remote access. It is obvious that some issues are more complex and need more time & advance trouble shooting steps and sometimes we need hands-on assistance by the customer. The customer did cooperate with our technician initially, but to complete it, it required more advanced trouble shooting steps to fix issue. We us
