They advertise houses for rent. When you call, there is a $40 fee to any information on the available houses, and they claim to help you get into an appropriate house in a minimal period of time. When you subscribe for the service, you get access to a list of addresses of houses supposedly available, and they turn out to be houses that may be going into foreclosure, and they supply a form letter to use to contact the owner. They do NOTHING to facilitate this. The letter is an inquiry purchasing the home. They are NOT a rental agency! They do supply a lease form to use if you arrange with the owner to lease the home pending a sale. The charge is non-refundable, and they do not tell you up front that it is a continuing monthly charge unless you cancel. I tried to contact my credit card issuer about a cancellation and they contacted the company, who said they would cancel further charges, but refused to supply the bank with a cancellation number. The bank said they could not legally cancel the original charge, as it is listed as "non-refundable." I found one property listed on their list that was already posted for rent and that I had already contacted, and the actual agent had nothing to do with this company.
