Received a call from 224-241-2959 from someone stating I took a loan out that was directly deposited into my account and that I owe $400.00 or so after late fees and that criminal fraud charges were being filed because I had not made arrangements to pay it back. They said action would be taken by the court and that I could be arrested at my job in the next 8 days. This is completely false.
I filled out inquiries for loans using my personal information to see what amounts I would be eligible for but never received any funds at any point from any company.
I still receive numerous calls from people with the same accent either trying to give me a loan, asking if I need help paying back a payday loan (even though I never received any funds) and now this.
