I visited the Baltimore Maryland Hippodrome Theater's site, on November 6, 2013, with intentions to purchase four decent seats to the Moscow Ballet's Great Russian Nutcracker on December 21, 2013. I was routed to a purchase site which guaranteed 4 seats in Zone B. Looking back now, the red flag should have been the fact that those seat numbers were not specified. Once I made the purchased online, I awaited a notice of confirmation and expected to be able to print my purchased tickets as I have done many times in the past with other events that I have attended. No confirmation and no tickets arrived. I tracked down the ticket brokers info. and it turned out to be Number One Tickets. I placed a call and spoke to "Maria" who tracked my order # and apologized because, she said, my email had been recorded incorrectly. She said that my tickets would be arriving via ground mail by December 17..now a panicky feeling starting setting in, and I complained that I have never encountered such a set-up, that date was only three days prior to the performance and the tickets were intended as a Christmas gift to my mother-in-law, who is coming to Maryland from California. She just lost her husband in September and this event with her son and two grandchildren would be a memorable and uplifting experience for her. "Maria" assured me that she would make it so I would get my tickets by yesterday, December 4th. I have heard nothing...when I was looking Number One Tickets to find "Maria's" phone number, I accidentally came across the Scambook and found another complainant's story about this 'company' which I get the feeling, judging from the unprofessional answering mssg. and the background noise during my phone calls is actually a Hispanic couple and a few relatives flying by the seat of their pants with a fraudulent ticket sales operation where they vulture dreg tickets last minute and pass them to the customer for a premium price. I wish to make contact with the other complainant to present a proposal for him to join me in a class-action suit for damages caused by their fraudulent and deceptive practices. I want this company barred from reputable event sites such as the Hippodrome. they picked the wrong girl to screw with, it happens that I have a relative who has actually been practicing fraud law for 30 years IN THE HOUSTON area where this 'company' is based. Your time and effort in assisting me to get the job done and protect future unsuspecting theater goers would be greatly appreciated.
