I saved for over 3 years to be able to have my veneers done by Dr. Kevin Sands. He was supposed to be the top cosmetic dentist in the world, all of the stars go to him. I came in awhile back for a consultation and he quoted me $12,000. This seemed a bit high but quality is important to me, so saving was my only option. Finally after years and years of saving I came in for my pre op consultation. This is when the entire nightmare began for me.

I waited for over 2 hours in the patient lounge area. The front desk girls where extremely stuck up and gave me a huge attitude. Not once did one of them offer me any water or anything. My phone actually rang once and the front desk girl practically yelled at me. I apologized and she just rolled her eyes and whispered something to her co-worker. I should've known at this point to just walk out and never come back. But after years of anticipation, it clouded my judgment, I patiently waited. Finally when they called me back to meet Dr. Sands the assistant notified me that he was on a call and would be with me shortly. Well that was a huge lie, I waited for 30 minutes in the chair before he came. Luckily they had a T.V for me to watch, so it wasn't that bad. But wow was this the most ridiculous situation of my entire life! To save for 3 years and build up so much anticipation, then to have such a horrible experience, what a let down. Finally he comes and apologizes for the delay, then says whats your concerns. Well this is a stupid question because if he would just look at my patient forms he would see I've been here years ago for a veneer consultation. In addition he will see that on my new forms I did today it says veneers consultation. Guess he was just to lazy to even bother checking!

I decided to just be nice and explain how I came in years ago and was looking to finally go through with the veneers. He did an exam and said great every looks good, let's schedule you for the procedure. They did a bunch of prep work which took about another hour or so and then sent me home. A few weeks later I came in for the procedure and man was that a nightmare. I ended up waiting over 90 minutes again, even after paying him $12,000.00, guess he had celebrities to attend to. Anyways to cut this long story short, the veneers are very disappointing. His work was sub par and the overall experience was horrible. I'm thinking about going somewhere else because I cannot imagine looking at these for the rest of my life!

  • I was billed twice from Luminate skin and don't remember receiving anything from Luminant. The billing was within 10 days. One was for $93.95 and the other for $98.90. They did not have my permission to do this. I do not have the money to pay the credit card company for these charges.

  • I have recently received a message from Dr. Sand's threatening to sue me if I didn't remove this scam report within 72 hours. It's truly a shame that instead of him just refunding my money he would rather waste it on a lawyer, what a complete moron! I highly suggest people to stay away from him... I don't know why any celebs would go to this guy, he's a huge rip off.
