Last Tuesday (Nov. 26/13), I submitted a complaint against Get Black Diamond. I think I had trouble when I went to submit my complaint because the "submitting" button kept flashing. It never really confirmed that my complaint had actually been submitted. The next day I couldn't find my complaint in the dashboard, spam, or trash. I am now re-submitting my complaint. After filling out an on-line survey for a department store, I received a pop-up stating that I was eligible to receive a free gift for taking the time to fill out the survey. I thought this came from the store I did the survey for. I had a choice of a few things, and I chose a cosmetic face serum. It said I only had to pay $5.99 plus tax ($6.36) which was debited from my chequing account on Oct. 7/13. My gift arrived about a week later. I was a little surprised as I expected a sample size bottle of cream and I received a full size bottle. All went well until Nov. 1/13 when $107.42 was debited from my chequing account. I didn't remember authorizing anything in this amount, so I went to the bank to enquire as to who had taken this money from my account. They said that it was a company named "Get Black Diamond". I then remembered that the name on the face cream was "Black Diamond". I didn't know what to do. I assumed I would just have to suck it up. Then on Nov. 18/13, there was another debit from my account in the amount of $118.22. I went back to the bank and they said it was "Get Black Diamond" again. I made an official dispute with the bank for these two debits. I explained what had happened and they said they would look into it for me, but didn't know how long this might take. They wheren't sure if they could do anything. When I got home, I got in touch with Scambook, and I had an on-line chat with Ted (Account Executive for Scambook). He said to submit a complaint. It took me a while to get all my paperwork in order, but I did file a complaint on Nov. 26/13. As I said at the beginning of this complaint I wasn't sure if my complaint had gone through so here I go again. I hope you can give me some help. You were able to help me once before.
Thank you and hope to hear from you soon.
