Received message that I was considered for a position to work from home for Nova Medical Centers. I received email and messages from a Sarah Cornor who says that she was the companys Hiring Mananger. She gave me an interview through yahoo messenger and gave me a briefing of company. After interview she told me would discuss things over with company and later she contacted me and said I was hired. She let me know the company would be sending me a check through FedEx so that I could order the material for me to start working at home. Once I received the check I had to deposit the check into my account and then Western union money to a special vendor that had the supplies I needed. When that was done she told me I would need a time machine to calculate the hours so another check was sent and when I went back to bank I was told the check was fake so now I've been told I owe the bank thanks to spmeone deciding to scam.

  • I just received an email today about this same job. I sent over my resum, seen the add on craigslist for a receptionist. I was then told that i had to set up a yahoo messenger account to do an online interview. Um ok so i did and i was chatting with an HR manager name Victoria Gore. As she is sending me the info im googling the company and oh boy did i find out a lot,bit what got me was the fact that i actually see that someone wrote the same thing i am going thru. Thank god i was doing research before i went any further

  • I received a text message on my phone from Sarah Cornor stating that she had seen my resume on Jobvertise. I set up my Yahoo IM on my computer so that I could go through the online interview -- it was long. I was told how much I would be making, was given a long list of software that I would have to purchase, etc.... I was then told by Sarah that I needed to log in at 8am this morning to get further details on how I would get the check they are forwarding via Fedex. I told Sarah that I work full time, wouldn't be able to log in at that time and she stated that my lunch hour would be fine. Didn't feel right or sound right and I have decided not to log in today or any other day. Sorry that others have been scammed but glad that I found out before I deposited their fake check in to my account.
