I am located in Oklahoma City, I was contacted by a text message asking me to add a "Joy Smith" to my instant messenger on Yahoo for an interview. Same story as I have read on this site, wanting to send me a check to buy my own software packaging, and they would send the equipment to me. I knew immediately that didn't sound right. When I really started to push who they were, where they were located, they kept dodging my questions, they finally said they were located in Washington D.C., could have been India for all I knew. They had broken English. Red Flag people. After doing a little investigating, I found out "Yes" it is a scam. I will not even continue my conversation with them.
