I received a call asking for my husband. I said he was unavailable but asked if I could take the call instead. The person on the phone said they were with Dept. of Legal Affairs- Us Treasury. He said his name was Kevin Peterson and his ID was 11578. He stated that my husband had not paid taxes for 2011 and 2012 and that I needed to phone my tax attorney because my husband was going to be taken into custody today. I was alarmed! I said we did not have a tax attorney, but asked for his number so our tax accountant could give their dept. a call back to clarify this misunderstanding. We were then disconnected. I called back and the same person answered the phone. I told him that our 2011 taxes had been paid and that 2012 was just submitted. He hung up. I tried calling back and it said the number was disconnected. I called the same number about 20 minutes later and spoke to a person named Mark Gibson I asked for his ID number and the address were they were located. He said his ID was 11758! (similar to the one given by Kevin Peterson). He would not give a mailing address. He asked for my name and why I was calling. I would not give my name, but stated the reason for my call. He said I would need to speak to Kevin Peterson, and he would need to call me back. I asked to talk to a supervisor and he said Kevin Peterson was the supervisor. He asked again for my name so he could give it to Kevin Peterson. I refused and hung up. This call was very threatening and both people I spoke to had foreign accents.
