They emailed me a job offer that promised to pay $50 per product review. At first, they seemed legitimate; their job description pdf file had a logo, address, phone number and the description was professionally written. They had a website as well. The website appeared too simple and somewhat ugly although I ignored my first impression. I sent them my resume, filled-out application and private contractor agreement. They responded to my first few emails and promised to call me but they never did. I tried to contact them by phone but no one would answer. I still haven't gotten any type of response from them.

I decided to do more thorough research about them and found out that their business doesn't actually exist and their address pointed to a residential business under construction in Manhattan. I also recently found out that their website no longer exists. It has been completely deleted. I'm pretty sure that the names they were using in the emails were also fake.

Seeing other people complaining about this so-called company on several sites assured me that I had been scammed by these criminals. I wouldn't be surprised if they changed their personal identity, company name and address to keep stealing personal information.
