Got a call from 833-111-1111 and let it roll to voice. Called it back when it said it was trying to collect a debt, when I knew that was clearly a mistake. The woman on the line, KALEE MOORE told me I was in default for a 2004 Kia Optima purchased in 2008 and that I owed over $5800. I have NEVER owned a Kia. She stated they were processing court documents to serve and wanted to confirm my current address. After pressing her, she gave her company as Affirmative Litigation.Com out of NY. I can't find this company but I did find this site. I called back to the scammers and asked for the VIN to try to see if possibly my identity had been stolen (still naive enough to believe this was real), I got hold of a real jerk who bullied me into tears. (Not usually an easy thing). He gave me a bogus VIN according to KIA headquarters.
