I booked a hotel in King of Prussia, PA, USA on 11/4/2013 using the Easytobook.com web site. (The booking was for the night of 11/5/2013).

I received confirmation from the web site which I printed out. The confirmation CLEARLY states that the status is: "CONFIRMED TO THE ACCOMODATION". Of course, when I arrive, there is NO reservation either under my name or from easytobook.com. They checked my name and your booking number. I immediately assumed that this was a completely fraudulent service and contacted American Express to have the charge immediately reversed and to let them know that easytobook.com was engaging in these fraudulent practices, as well as gaining access to my credit card number under fraudulent conditions.

Because I was travelling for business, and becuase easytobook.com's offices were closed at 4:30pm eastern time in the US, I was forced to book a room directly with the hotel at a higher price. Please be advised that I am reporting this fraudulent transaction to the Attorney General in my state as well as all of the consumer protection agencies. I am also notifying my local police department about easytobook.com gaining my credit card number under these fraudulent conditions.
