I booked 2 nights Accommodation at Guesthouse Apartment Leipzig Arriving 12/08/12, departing 14/08/12. I received my confirmation on 19/07/12 through Easytobook.com.

The day of departure from England I received a text message from someone called Daniel asking my time of arrival. I replied that I would be arriving at the Hotel at 20.00 on 12/08/12. In actual fact we arrived at 19.50. We waited until 20.40 to gain access to this hotel, and despite 2 text messages to +4917622624168, 8 phone calls to +4917622624168, 7 phone calls to +493412606079, both of which were shown on my booking confirmation, plus ringing every single bell on the door, no one showed at the hotel to let us in. I have kept the text messages and the record of the phone calls on my phone, I also have dated/timed photographic proof of our attendance at this Hotel. I sent an email to [email protected] telling them of my displeasure with their behaviour leaving my wife, myself and 2 children in the street also without response. We then headed back to Leipzig City Centre and booked into the Novotel for 2 nights at a higher fee than the agreed contract between myself and Guesthouse Apartments Leipzig.

I complained to Easytobook.com, and they did a poor investigation, They claim that the Guesthouse did not receive my text or email until very late, this is a remote possibility, but what about the numerous call to 2 different numbers? Are they claiming they didn't recieve these? I have dated timed proof of our attendance, but Easytobook.com have ignored all of this and accepted the Guesthouse version, that someone turned up at 20.30. We didn't catch a tram back to the Main Station until 20.48, a tram stop directly across the road from the accommodation. No one turned up during our time there.

We then booked into the Novotel at approx 21.10 at a cost of 199 Euros, that's a 100 Euros more than our agreed contract with Guesthouse Apartment Leipzig, but despite this they have refused to compensate me for their inability to be at the accommodation to let us in, their inability to answer phonecalls, and then lie to easytobook.com.

I am disgusted at the way myself and my Family have been treated by this so called provider of accommodation. I also asked easytobook.com that this Hotel be removed from their website as an unreliable provider of accommodation.

Easytobook.com are as responsible as Guesthouse Apartment Leipzig for their complacency in advertising this accommodation, when clearly they are unreliable, unscrupulous and liars to boot, how can my irrefutable documentation and the witnessing of events by my family be ignored?

I wouldn't recommend either Guesthouse Apartment Leipzig or Easytobook.com to anyone as a reliable source for accommodation.
