As I have now read, (1 week too late) I too was searching on Craigslist for a used iMac and came across Adrianna Ensign ([email protected]) and responded to her ad. The ad stated that she was moving & had to sell her iMac, as she was no longer using it. When I replied back she stated she had already moved to Canada and she found a company; "Collect Plus" that would act as a intermediary and handle the transaction. Their website looked legit, so I sent the funds....and now I am out the cash!

I was scammed, too.
One day, the person behind all this will most certainly be held responsible.
I doubt I will hear about it, though.
Sorry you too fell for what really looked legit.
BTW, I contacted the REAL Collect+ folks in the UK, and apparently they are aware that this situation is going on.
