NO REFUND NO MATTER WHAT even BEFORE starting the program and not having a change of heart, but a major health concern regarding the ingredients in their products, which my doctor and pharmacist could not support, with being on medications of any kind.

While this complaint is about WeightNOT's products specifically, and their pressured sales tactics, it also stems from protecting me and others from unforeseen health issues, with their ingredients of their products which must be taken with their program, not being healthy and are not FDA approved. I was ONLY able to obtain any and all information about their Program through a phone consultation, which I was told of their 90% success rate, and many other members like me have had success, and their products are natural and organic, and no stimulants. All ingredients and program information would be provided in my box of materials which were sent 3 weeks AFTER I signed up. I took the ingredient list to my doctor and pharmacist to see if anything would interfere with all the medications I am currently taking, and which were also provided to the representative, and customer service manager, and after their review, 2 & 3 days later my doctor and pharmacist said NO WAY should I be taking any of these supplements or powders...and went on to say how dangerous they were for me. However, their customer service manager told me to move forward with the program, as she has never had a complaint, which goes completely against my doctor's and pharmacist's recommendation. They will not refund me my money even though I have not started the program, and when I sent all sealed products and supplements back in their original unopened, unused condition, they refused shipment. They claim I signed a medical consent form while I was on the phone with their sales rep, and who pushed me through the signing up process by pumping me up, telling me I am a perfect candidate for their program, even though he had a list of all the medications I take. The rep sits on the phone with you while you try and read an online form, and no I have no medical conditions that would prevent me from their program per their medical list shown online, but I do have a problem with the ingredients only sent to me AFTER I signed up, believing what they told me was "natural" "organic" "healthy"....when in fact it is not, atleast not in my individual case. I have sent them specifics that my doctor and pharmacist have provided in relation to it being dangerous for me to take these supplements and powders, but they both support my wanting to lose weight, working out (not in extreme as their program offers) and changing my diet. They just cannot support my taking their "supplements". They continue to tell me, too bad, there is no refund. I signed the form. I said I signed it under duress and anxiety with someone breathing over my shoulder through the phone. I was not given a chance to receive information via email or usps mail that would help me make an informed and accurate decision with my doctor based on my medications I must take for a disorder I am being treated for. For them to tell me to go ahead and move forward with the program is just unethical...and I refused to open or touch any of their products or supplies until I had the approval from my doctor and pharmacist. The customer service manager also received a list of all my medications that I take daily, which so much for confidentiality, but she is NOT a doctor and SHOULD NOT be making medical decisions to move forward and see how the program works for me and how they have counselors available everyday to work with me.

Another addition my pharmacist wanted to call out specifically that taking any of the three supplements (Detoxification, LiverScript, and Multivitamin) all have numerous ingredients which would NOT work with my perscription medications, which I provided a list to WeightNOT during my original phone consultationa as well as after with their Customer Service Manager who kept telling me they were all safe and I should start the program and see how I feel. There are many ingredients in these three products that subjects me to photocinthysist and sensitivity with other medications, the alphalfa, flaxseed and dandilion root are all harmful to me as it decreases the clearance in my body, making the medication stay in my body longer than it should, and subjecting me to harmful side effects. There are ingredients that would provide a crazy interaction also with my adivan (Lorazapam) which I take 4 times a day. He has never seen so many ingredients in three products as noted in WeightNOT's supplements and fiber, and they are not healthy FOR ME, and he cannot speak to anyone else, as he looked up each ingredient to see how it would interfere and counteract with the numerous medications I take. My pharmacist indicated that these types of ingredients should be displayed on your website or emailed to you prior to signing up....as anyone on any medications should take it to their doctor for review, as well as their pharmacists who are trained in this field. A warning should be placed on this WeightNOT program that if you are taking medications, you must review all your medications with the ingredients of this program PRIOR to signing up...and then be given time to do so, WITH the information, and not wait 3 weeks to get your binder of information, which is what I was told, that the ingredients, and everything about the program is being mailed to me and is in the binder. I can only say that I was under duress in having someone pushing me through the sign up process, and not actually caring for me nor my health and him KNOWING I was on various medications. The list of health issues may not be of a concern, as it is in my case, I don't have problems with any of the health conditions noted that I read, however, the problems come within the actual ingredients of these products which must be taken with the program, and in which I was told by WeightNOT was "safe" and "all natural" and 90% success rate of the program. It is NOT about the money but the safety of each and every person who is interested in the program....again it only takes one death or serious conflict for a product to be pulled from the market and investigated. Even Dr. Richard Besser from ABC's Health & Awareness made this statement about supplements just this morning. Just because an ingredient or product states it is safe, long term research has not been done on many of these products to know the end result...and we only hear of them AFTER someone dies because of it.

Some further specifics my doctor has provided (and my pharmacist) Two days of research has now been looked into regarding the WeightNOT supplements and powders: Findings the Rosemary extract used in your products is NOT FDA approved, and many other ingredients noted in your products he doesn't even know about, nor does my pharmacist...so there is no information to be found on their safety and whether they are FDA approved or not. Also your super strengh multivitamin has many concerns about how much over the 100% daily dosage is actually being given, as too much vitamin B or A is very dangerous. At best, only one week would be recommended to take the multivitamin, after that, the risk is too high, and even in that # week, it is a risk, especially for those who are very sensitive to vitamins, and various levels. With my being extremely sensitive to medications and their make up, again he cannot support the taking of non FDA approved, and non medical data to support the ingredients in the WeightNOT products. They indicated these ingredients need to be posted on your website so that it can be researched PRIOR to having and receiving a sales pitch consultation. EVERYONE should take this information to their doctors and pharmacists for approval, and not just assume they are safe because they are "all natural" etc. NOR because someone states they are ok to take. Every individual is different, and should be treated as such. Not having this information readily available to the prospective client is unacceptable they said. No one can make an informed decision without having a day or two to process this information upon receipt and the policy should be is to send an email of this information or provide it on your website where anyone and everyone can access it PRIOR to a high energy pressure feeling consultation...which is their reps jobs...to get someone to sign up right then and there, before knowing all the facts.

I never HAD this information to make a decision prior to signing up (See sentence about those on medications below). I was just told it was all in my package and box that would arrive and did so 3 WEEKS AFTER I signed up. DIETARY RESTRICTIONS The WeightNot program restricts or prohibits consumption of certain items including processed and packaged foods, added sugars, artificial sweeteners and alcohol. Success on the program requires strict compliance with such program guidelines. The program also relies upon the use of natural foods from many food categories. Those with medically dictated dietary restrictions may typically find acceptable food alternatives within the available program food options, but understand that results may be impacted by their restrictions. Those on prescription medications also understand that certain foods may impact the efficacy of those medications, and agree that they have discussed prescription dosages and diet with their personal or prescribing physician. Vegetarians and vegans understand that participation in the program involves substitutions for standard program foods that will reduce the effectiveness of the program, and that food options will be very limited during the course of the program, particularly during the weight loss stages. As such, participation in the program is not recommended for vegans and strict vegetarians. From their customer service manager: We want to see you move forward, and are willing to work with you every step of the way. As we discussed, please send me a full list of medications you are on, so we have that on record. From their counselor Tara Gerke: The nutriscriptions should not interfere with your prescription medications. You are certainly welcome to speak with your pharmacist or doctor if that would make you feel more comfortable. To WeightNot Mgmt ([email protected] and [email protected] Now that I have spoken and addressed my concerns as noted by your counselor that I should do for my comfort level, my doctor and pharmacist have come back with these products NOT being good for me, they interfere with my medications, and are UNSAFE for me to take. From me to customer service manager Freyja Gutierrez, I COMPLETELY DISAGREE WITH YOU. I provided to your rep a list of all my medications PRIOR to signing, and what is the purpose of that if you are not going to take those medications, and interactions with them, seriously. You had 3 weeks to review my application prior to shipping out my information, and let's not forget, I was also told this was going to be "designed around my needs". Even you stating I am a good candidate for this program, and yet hearing from my doctor AND pharmacist could NOT BE FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH! (see additonal feedback by my pharmacist who looked into all ingredients). Furthermore, I DID asked about ingredients and supplements and their stimulants and was told it was all natural and organic and details would all come in my binder along with all the program information. I even asked for a list of items I should buy and I did get that...but not the ingredients. I am just another number, financial dollar for you, and you have no care about me, or any others, as a human being or individual. AGAIN I SIGNED UNDER DURESS, with YOUR AGENT hovering over my shoulder via the phone. How do you know what to ask for in advance, if you have not received the program information, which included ingredients.

Update: 10/31/2013

the title of this Director of Membership has changed in many of my emails from Director, to Manager, to no title at all. So what kind of message does that send. This is down right a SCAM to get your money, and run.

Update: 10/31/2013

RE: BBB Response I am rejecting this response because This is coming from the Director of Membership Services, and not the president or anyone in upper management of the company.

Update: 10/31/2013

I have had ongoing problems with this so-called "director" Frejya, and do not feel she is capable of making an unbiased decision as she is ONLY concern is with the membership numbers

Update: 10/31/2013

WeightNOT continues to stand behind their only reason for no refund is because of a signed form, with no remorse for their client's health, wellbeing, and safety. It was signed UNDER DURESS and high pressure sales pitch.

Update: 10/31/2013

None of the medications she is taking are contraindications to our program and we cleared her to start prior to her purchase. Statement made to BBB by WeightNOT's Director of Membership....she is NOT a doctor.

Update: 10/31/2013

Reasons and concerns about ingredients found by my doctor and pharmacists was provided and how dangerous and unacceptible for me to take was provided to this Director within 3 days of receiving the program information and ingredient list.

Update: 10/31/2013

The Consultant on the phone DID NOT and SHOULD HAVE reviewed ALL the paragraphs with me to make sure I knew what it was I was signing, and the affects it will have. Never was I told this program was non-refundable.

Update: 10/31/2013

At $906 I would NEVER have signed that had I known the program was non-refundable for any reasons, even with a doctor's note prior to starting the program. This money was all I had, and I fell victim to their belief and reasoning.

Update: 10/31/2013

I signed under DURESS and high pressured sales tactics, and believing what I was signing up for was "safe" and "healthy" for me, and yet that is the farthest from the truth in my case.

Update: 10/31/2013

Paypal reversed my payment to WeightNOT of $906 per my claim, however, there are no funds there. Paypal they said a refund was in the process, but that they cannot get the money from WeightNOT now

Update: 11/04/2013

Resolution has been reached between myself and WeightNOT. Claim can be closed and cancelled, as part of my condition acceptance for a refund with WeightNOT. Thank you!

Update: 11/05/2013

RESOLUTION HAS BEEN AGREED TO! Claim is now CANCELLED!

Update: 11/05/2013

It is with GREAT remorse that I let my anger, hurt, and medical condition, take over my words in this complaint. If I could delete them I would.

Update: 11/05/2013

My fears and medical condition should NOT BE A FACTOR in anyone's decision to partake in WeightNOT's program. They have a 90% success rate for a reason and a wonderful following.

Update: 11/05/2013

I should have asked for assistance in walking through the form but let my disorder take over and felt pressured, anxious, and embarrassed, which is my medical condition, and NOT the fault of WeightNot or it's staff.

Update: 11/05/2013

In working things out with WeightNot I learned a lot more about their program: They have been in business for many years, and have helped thousands lose weight successfully, and helping those make healthy changes to their lifestyles.

Update: 11/05/2013

Clients eat clean, fresh food, eliminating processed carbohydrates and inflammatory products from their system.

Update: 11/05/2013

They give physician grade supplements, that are from natural sources, and manufactured using stringent testing to ensure potency and quality. There is nothing harmful about WeightNot's system.

Update: 11/05/2013

My doctors provided "their" view and were protecting me due to the sensitive nature of my condition. However, I stand corrected, just because WeightNot does not agree with them, does not make them “unethical”, or program unsafe to others

Update: 11/05/2013

They are changing lives and proudly helping many people eliminate symptoms of unhealthy eating, and behaviors that cause obesity and other health issues (diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, adrenal fatigue, etc.).

Update: 11/05/2013

This learning experience will carry forward with me ...to take a deep breath, breathe, and ask questions, not be ashamed or embarrassed, to have someone hold my hand through a form and explain it to me paragraph by paragraph.

Update: 11/05/2013

Again, I stand corrected, and have remorse for such harshness and tones used in my complaint. We reached a resolution because of their caring nature and the wellbeing of me. I wish I could delete all I said here. But I cannot.
