Booked a package through Hotice Entertainment for a DJ/Booth and Dancefloor - the price advertised was too good to be true as I later found out the hard way which almost ruined my fiance's 30th birthday. I Deposited $100 and was told that 1 week prior to event they would contact me. Hadn't heard anything from the company at all prior at that point so I contacted them myself 2 days prior and was told 1 week before event someone would contact me again! Realised something was wrong and emailed the company to confirm everything was going ahead as planned for the 26th. They didn't reply, so I sent various texts and rang them several times and still no reply. This was now the night before the event and still no reply. I eventually got an email basically telling me he was overseas and had now only had the DJ to offer me, not the package I originally booked. He refused to give me a refund and made several lame excuses for why they hadn't secured the booked. They have no intention of giving your money back and after speaking to various other suppliers I found out that they do this to people all the time! They use to be called Diamond Club DJ's - and later changed their name to what is now Hotice Entertainment. They don't care about your event and are simply there to take your deposit with no intention on fulfilling their promise. I suspect it's a backyard operation run by a bunch of kids or teenagers. Don't ever make a deposit.
