I was contacted for a payday loan. I was told I was approved but had to send 110 on a money pack to verify I could make my first payment. Then I was called back and they said the government was blocking the transaction due to taxes and told me to send 180 and they would reimburse me. That was also paid for on a green dot money card. They called back and said my bank wouldn't allow the transaction so they had to call the bank. Well someone called from New York and said they were at the headquarters asked questions which seemed legit and so I sent 210 for bank fee. So then on the next day they called and said there was another problem and wanted me to send the money another 200 via western union to a charity rocero in Stockton ca. I then finally confronted them and the jerk was very defensive. I did alert western union of the suspected fraud and the receivers name. I just want these people stopped!!!! And try to get my 500 dollars back.
