Georgian Manor resort in Collingwood. We signed the agreement in May 2013. I had a bad feeling about it, and call them right away, next day. They basically ley to us when we ask about cancelling policy stating we have one year to try it, and then if we don't like we can cancel it any time. I asked specifically if we have 24/48 hours to cancel this agreement, and the sale person wrote me that e-mail, hiding important fact, about 10 days period, which we could use to cancel this agreement right away. We have situation, we can’t afford paying for this anymore, and they threatening us with collection agencies and so on.
I wrote them a letter asking to terminate the contract based on misrepresentation, and just got phone call from them telling us, we need to pay it off.

It's a bloody shame the site administrator has to take out email addresses. How in hell are we supposed to get together as a group to fight these bastards from Collingwood that won't accept mail from scambook or take any calls from those who are supposed to be investigating on our behalf. I'm beginning to think this website is a farce!
I have been getting phone calls from the credit bureau in Barrie Ont. claiming I owe RCI money on the timeshare that I stopped paying on over a year ago! What a joke they are. I spoke to a lawyer and told him that we tried to book a stay IN COLLINGWOOD at one of THEIR RESORTS and they couldn't accommodate us. They tried, but we needed a place that could take my wife, myself and 5 grandchildren.7 people total and when they said they had a place for us, we found out that the resort in question had a FIRE SAFETY policy stating no more than 6 people allowed to stay in that accommodation. STRICTLY enforced! We cancelled instead of making the 2 hour drive up because RCI didn't even know what the rules were and we would have been turned away. RCI at that time breached the contract for not being able to accommodate us lawfully. Since then my wife was diagnosed with cancer and being both retired, have to pay for very expensive meds, travel for treatments, meals and other expenses. That's why we stopped paying RCI. Take us to court and we'll see how the judge feels about these obnoxious asses being so persistent on trying to collect on a worthless contract that they have already breached!!!! F---THEM.
NOW maybe the site administrator can let us know how to contact one another to start a class action law suit and answer why in hell he hasn't bothered to be more forceful in his follow-up on this complaint.
Oh ya do I sound a little bit pissed off ? I expect to be able to speak MY MIND when commenting on matters of this nature without have to worry about being politically correct or offending someone.
